ABOUT US
Since its formation in 1963, Murrays has become a market leader in distributing health and beauty accessories. This is now focused on a portfolio of brands that we have created such as Safe & Sound, Head Girl, Junior Macare, Murrays Manicure and Meridiana Bathroom Accessories and brands that we have acquired such as Miners Cosmetics and Sanjo Beauty Bags. In addition to all this we distribute brands on behalf of third parties, Philips AVENT, Clippasafe, Montagne Jeunesse, Mason Pearson and Vapourlites.
The company operates entirely from premises in Chandlers Ford near Southampton, where all functions including Commercial, Purchasing, Production, QC, Warehousing and Distribution are located.
We have highly flexible logistics and supply chain management, which enables us to deliver product direct to store or central warehouse usually within 24-48 hrs. Our direct salesforce gives us full U.K. and Ireland branch calling capability enabling us to branch order and merchandise locally where appropriate.
With a strong product and packaging design capability in house, a worldwide sourcing infrastructure supported by strict quality assurance procedures, we enjoy bringing quality health and beauty products to the market.

Combating Climate Change
Murrays Health & Beauty help co-fund an international project on Isabela, one of the Galapagos Islands in the Pacific Ocean off Ecuador. Previously there was no waste management or recycling facility, and this has impacted negatively on the human and animal side of the unique ecosystem of these islands. European funds became available to finance the project, but an interface between the funders and the local government on the island is of paramount importance in ensuring the long term success of this vital project.
Working with the Galapagos Conservation Trust and WWF, Murrays Health & Beauty are committed to helping provide the additional funding necessary over the period 2010 to 2012.
