PULSE OXIMETER
Product Description
Safe and Sound Fingertip Pulse Oximeter
Simple and Convenient Oxygen Saturation & Pulse Rate Monitor
This fingertip pulse oximeter is designed for domestic use in adults, providing a painless and quick way to measure oxygen saturation of arterial haemoglobin (%SpO2) and pulse rate (PR). Using light absorption principles, it estimates how much oxygen your haemoglobin is carrying, displayed as a percentage. The device works by emitting red and infrared light through the fingertip, then measuring the light absorbed by oxygenated and deoxygenated blood.
Key Points
📊 Measures arterial oxygen saturation (%SpO2) and pulse rate (PR)
🔬 Uses dual wavelength LEDs (660nm red, 940nm infrared) for accurate readings
👆 Simple, painless sensor placed on fingertip
⚖ Based on Lambert-Beer law for precise oxygen saturation estimation
🔋 Requires 2x AAA batteries (not included)

How to Use
Operating Instructions:
Before use, install two AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Please see instructions on how to install the batteries.
1) Open the oximeter clamp. Insert the finger with the nail upwards into the silicone hole of the oximeter, before releasing the clamp.
2) Press the button on the front panel.
3) Do not move your finger during measurement
4) Read the relevant data from display screen.
• The oximeter will shut off automatically if there is no finger in the device for more than 16 seconds.
• If the detected signal is incomplete, the equipment will not display the parameter value, but it will display the waveform as a straight line. The weak signal is represented by the amplitude of the waveform. If the signal is too low, it will affect the accuracy and function of the pulse oximeter. If your blood oxygen does not give the correct result, check if the signal strength is too low.
The accuracy of results may be affected by:
• Nail polish, false fingernails or other forms of nail art.
• High-frequency electrosurgical interference.
• Placement of a sensor on an extremity with a blood pressure cuff arterial catheter, or intravascular line.
• The patient has hypotension severe vasoconstriction severe anaemia or hypothermia
• The patient is in cardiac arrest or is in shock.
• High ambient light. Shield the sensor area if necessary.
• Placement of a sensor on an extremity with a blood pressure cuff, arterial catheter, or intravascular line
